I am not sure that is related to the issue I was having? Your issue
might be as simple as setting the file size in the Settings to read
first 5000 bytes when previewing. Otherwise very large e-mails take a
while to process before displaying for preview. This is included in the
latest release of
How do I add this header?
X-RBL-Warning: Weight of 10 exceeds the limit of 10.
(Don't see it in the manual)
It's listing in the Weighting system section of the Advanced
Configuration section of the manual. The default files include a WEIGHT10
test that includes that header.
So this is note is written to the headers when you use the WARN action with
the WEIGHT test?
(We use the SUBJECT action, so we don't get this warning in the headers?)
And what's with the subject line - I know I don't have reverse lookup.

Then you know why.
I think I found the problem.. The mail server has a reverse DNS... but
the IP they were assigned has not been entered in the DNS list...
so their IP address did not have a reverse DNS on it...

We use ASPMail with the same results. I think we are using an older version
though, the new version probably fixes this issue.

Hello all. We just got the reverse DNS capabilities delegated to us by
our upline connection (Sprint). However, when I look in the DNS (MS DNS, NT4)
at the reverse DNS records (50.34.208.in-addr.arpa), there are no records.
I've tried manually entering one for our mail server (208.34.50.132)
Hello all. We just got the reverse DNS capabilities delegated to us by

That looks good: http://www.DNSstuff.com/tools/ptr.ch?ip=208.34.50.132
shows that Sprint is referring reverse DNS queries to your nameservers. So
now the only piece left is to get your
Why is this bad?
It isn't necessarily bad to have a CNAME. The problem is that it can cause
DNS delays, which may outweigh other benefits of the CNAME. The real
question is why do you want www.xidix.com to be a CNAME for xidix.com? If
you don't know the answer, you should just have an A
Hi,
Once you get the zone created, you may be able to edit the file
directly, as it is a text file.

We have just released Declude v1.38 (
http://www.declude.com/junkmail/manual.htm ), which takes care of the issue
with the WARN action when used with the fromfile test type (which could
cause header corruption).

Hi Scott,
Thanks again for the GREAT Tech Support. Just two quick questions.
1) Our DECmmdd.log is just getting too big. I guess we are just tracking too
much good data. With the LOG set to low, the file still approaches 150 to
250 MB each day. In $default$ I have everything set to WARN except
Any one have ideas on how to get delisted from these databases?
Our IP is listed as being in PacBell blocks, and it is a blanket listing

I wouldn't worry about JIPPG-DUL; it seems that they don't have any method
for removing entries, and isn't even confirmable, so few
Thanks Scott,
Using LOG_OK NONE works nicely.
[1] You can add a line LOG_OK NONE to the \IMail\Declude\global.cfg file.
This will change it so that Declude will not log any of the Message OK
lines.
Thanks Again
