I'm confused. The page in the Knowledge Base

Now I am too - I had no idea there was a knowledge base now :)
says to put it in the global.cfg file. It also says nothing about adding

It looks like sniffer and fprot...when I turn off
sniffer things look normal but thena lot of spam comes thru too...so I
can not afford to do thatI think it is just the shear volume of spam
hitting my server constantly and the server can't keep caught
