This looks like what I'm looking for. We are not interested in using the DFS
option, everything will be going on one server
I can buy something 3rd party, as well, if anyone has any suggestions for
something that might work better than this. In the past I have found that

Acronis software to image the old server
You do need to make sure that the drivers for your boot drive are the same
for both machines.
If you find that the new machine needs a different driver then you could
take a SCSI c
Try robocopy from the MS Resource Kit.

I would check out robocopy in the resource kit. I use it all the time
to do stuff like this.

Imail, mxGuard, and ORF. IMail/Declude Overflow Queue Monitoring,
SURBL/U
Robocopy is free from Microsoft and will do all that you ask and more. Just be
careful when you use the /mir switch (or others that automatically delete
files).
