What is the HELOBOGUS test? I've not seen that one.
That's in the latest beta version, and detects bogus HELO/EHLO data (for
example, if a server sends HELO $domain or EHLO i.am.a.spammer).
You say that the spam headers would detect... why didn't it?
Because I forgot to mention that only the

When will this beta release move to production code?
I don't know.
It could be within the next few weeks, or it could take a month or so
(mostly depending on what new features we may decide to add). My guess is
closer to the few weeks side, as the new filtering ability has been
requested
I guess what I am asking is...

Yes. If you have WHITELIST FROM nfti.com, all E-mail sent with an
nfti.com return address will go through without failing any spam
tests. That's one of the reasons why whitelists are used as a last resort,

yes the additional filtering capabilities were added. We have had incredible

Scott,
I cannot get the any of the tests to trigger with the rsp set off testname
feature. I have tried several mailers, all sending text and am case

to test them first.

Just a reminder here --
Although the SPAMHEADERS test will have quite a few false positives (mainly
from poorly designed websites, but the false positives go down a lot by

Oooo, sorry, I really don't know anything about how
the new word filters work. Haven't tried them. But I would guess the
weight would be 5, that it doesn't multiply based on how many times the word
occurs.

It takes alot of experimentation to get the weighting right and as I

watched what made it through and why, then tested for it. You might reduce
false positives by relaxing the weight values on rvdns, postmaster and abuse
