Here's one I need a little tutoring on...
I have a client that wants to have mail when it comes
to his email account on the server forward a copy of
the mail to his blackberry, but keep a copy on the
mail server in his inbox. I could be creative and
write a Perl script, but I don't know if this
Doh... I just made an inbound rule to take care of it.
Sorry for the wasted bandwidth.

You don't need an inbound rule actually, you should just try the
dot-comma-forward trick. Find his account and enter the following in
the Forward box:
.,[EMAIL PROTECTED]
This will keep a copy in the user's account and also forward it to his
blackberry account. This is documented in the
I recall a couple of old conversations where some people commented on
Adaptec having some issues with a particular line of their SCSI RAID
cards and I was hoping that someone would chime in and let me know what
models they were and/or what the issue was. I'm just trying to research

Hi all,
I've been following the threads on system resources being consumed and some
of the issues with SMTP and logging with IMail 8.2. I am still running 8.05
HF3 and it's been pretty solid but I want to at least get to a point where
the recent vulnerabilities are patched.
So...I'm interested
Andy, it depends on what you want to fix.
I don't think that IMail 8.20 HF1 is cooked yet, and Bill Billman posted
last Friday that there is certainly a problem with IMail 8.20 HF? and
Declude, so I would stay away from that.

I'm still on IMail 7.15 and Declude 1.81. Every time I think about updating
to the latest, there's an issue of some ilk being hashed-out. Stability
with the newer versions seems to be a lost cause.

That's just not true. My server has been rock-solid since I updated to
8.2HF1. Keep in mind that you're reading a support list where people
post their problems. You don't see any My server is still running
fine posts because people report only problems here. I would venture
to guess that the
Glenn,
I've been running IMail 8.15 HF1 with Declude 2.0.6 for a month now and
without any issues that weren't around in prior versions like 1.81.
They have been busy addressing small bugs and adding functionality since
2.0.6 came out and I am personally quite pleased with the progress. The

My company has been running Imail 8.20 since April 28th, 2005 and have had 0
issues (except for the odbc issue which there is a fix for).
Server specs: PIII 700Mhz 1gig Ram, machine runs with around ~500mb Free.,

Thanks Andrew. I was thinking that 8.2 wasn't ready yet either
but there aren't really any features in 8.1x that I need besides
the fact that they have a patch for the latest vulnerabilities.
I moved from 8.0x to 8.1x because of problems that Ipswitch fixed with
logging and with dropped SMTP
Why not do this in Imail with forwarding? You can use the . to keep a
copy in his email box. The only thing where this would not work is if your
only a gateway for their domain.
