Marc,
Why don't you block 445 on the firewall (outbound) and look at the logs to
see where they are coming from?

Hello,
Several months ago I got SPAMC32 working with my spamd server and reporting
scores to Declude properly (as far as I know). With Sandy's help I set it
up to use the following method:
SA1 external 1
c:\imail\declude\filters\spamc32\spamc32.exe -d spamd IP -u spamd -p 783
-cw
While I can't *guarantee* that it was working right with higher than
10 returns from spamd, here is what I see now.
'-et 10' means 'return an exit code of 10 if the SPAMD total weight
was greater than 10.' I like to look at it in terms of what SPAMC32
returns, not anything it can't
The sasser worm seems to ignore local networks and was only trying to get to
external IPs. I tried ethereal and got no probes on the local net. I did
lock down 445 external but the Xincom has really weak logging so I couldn't
get any info from it. Thanks though

There were some talk on the list about SpamReview earlier.
Is anyone except John using it? Does it work OK?
We use Imail 8.22 and really would like to find a way to work with all the
messages in /spam/hold directories.

Thanks for the suggestion, Sanford.
OK, I removed the -y for all the POSTIVE SA tests (SA1-SA10) and then
created the following rule in local.cf:
body MY_SPAMASSASSIN_RULE/this is a test of spamassassin/
describe MY_SPAMASSASSIN_RULETest of my spamassassin rule

Jonas,
We have an application similar to SpamReview. We are currently seeking a
very limited set of beta testers for called fpReview. It supports both
imail and smartermail.
If you or anyone else are interested please contact me offlist.

We still use it, but are developing a replacement. It has trouble parsing
the headers for info at times, but otherwise does what it was intended to
do. It will work fine with 8.22.

Looks good. At first glance, one thing that would prevent me from
switching is that I would have to go through each message individually.
With SpamReview I can scan the top list showing the important info (to,
from, subject, domain) to eliminate 90% of the work. Then I only have
to review
John,
Are you not using the latest beta? All of those features are there (to,
from, and subject) in the listview?

Let's look at the SPAMC32 side of these first. What's the ERRORLEVEL

Next, we can look at whether/why SPAMD is acting

Thanks for the offer but you don't have to.
I'm currently testing Darrell's fpReview and it works great.
Highly recommended.
