Subject: [Declude.JunkMail] OT: Live Web Log Analyzer

Hi,

I've been running LiveStats ISP, but it's been terribly buggy for larger
sites (not to speak of the fact, that its database columns are too small
to
deal with high volume sites - e.g., you can have more than 204 GB
bandwidth in any given period, such as weekly or monthly). Now they
don't
even respond to requests to update me on the status of my reported
problems
- while the system has been down for 2 weeks due to a reproducible
failure.

Webtrends has never been shining either, with respect to stability
and/or
support.

I do need an IIS web log analyzer that:

A) offers ad-hoc ('live') reporting

B) uses a database structure that does not limit volume (e.g., a JET
database won't do).

What is everyone else out there using?

Best Regards
Andy Schmidt

RE: [Declude.JunkMail] AOL fwding

2002-12-19 Thread Mike Griffin - Handy Networks, LLC

If AOL does say anything about this, I would be very interested to know

what they say, as I believe they do not acknowledge the secret spam
filtering (as opposed to the standard spam filtering, where they will
bounce the E-mails).

We had a similar issue where AOL black-holed one particular mail server
IP on us. Relaying through a different server on the same netblock
worked fine, so they were clearly blocking that specific IP for some
unknown reason.

I contacted them repeatedly regarding the issue and a couple weeks later
they simply said it was fixed. No explanation why they blocked the IP
or any other details to go on.

My abuse mail boxes all had spam this morning pretending to be from spam cop. These
has titles like -

Your site will be shut down
We will block you from millions of users
Your network is being compromised

It gave out the phone number for Julian Haight of spam cop. Looks like some spammer
is trying to attack spam cop. Maybe spamcop is too effective.

Anyone else get these - they all came from IP address 65.67.149.57. I have included a

RE: [Declude.JunkMail] Removal from Open Relay

Hi Timothy-

You might want to run their IP through the Spam database lookup here:

This is a little off topic but I figured this is a good place to ask.

We have a customer that we do consulting for, unfortunately they think they can run
their own mail server..

Anyway they had an open relay for a while and they asked me to help remove them from
the lists.

Which ones are the most likely listed on?

I already did dsbl.org

Thanks
