Aha! That was a fishy circumstance. Those errors were red herrings raised by my other virus scanner, not the AVG scanner. If anybody is interested, this is what the log lines looked like at the last time that AVG triggered on a virus was April 3rd, 2009: 04/03/2009 08:54:05.047 Q003993048.smd
