RE: [Declude.Virus] F-Prot error?
Greetings, I fixed the same issue by going to symantec and downloading the latest version of this file... it's in a patch they have on their site. Once you d/l and install the patch, it will fix the problem. Here are some links to help... 1. the patch: ftp://ftp.symantec.com/public/english_us_canada/symevnt/sevinst.exe 2. referance: http://www.symantec.com/techsupp/files/symevnt/symevnt.html 3. referance: http://service4.symantec.com/SUPPORT/sharedtech.nsf/7e7f15291a25d938882567e5 0048a048/aad3c3a1409cf9cb8825665e00710bd0?OpenDocument&ExpandSection=1 Good Luck, Mike -Original Message- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]]On Behalf Of R. If you go to http://service2.symantec.com/SUPPORT/pca.nsf/docid/1997728113 , you'll see that the S32EVNT1.DLL file is used by PC Anywhere. It also appears to be used by other Symantec products. It seems that one of the Symantec programs is not set up properly, so that it won't allow command line programs to be run. I would recommend contacting Symantec to see how to fix this. -Scott --- [This E-mail was scanned for viruses by Declude Virus (http://www.declude.com)] This E-mail came from the Declude.Virus mailing list. Not trying to be too big of a butt-head, but it is extremely poor etiquette to post an attachment to a list. Next time, upload the pic. to a web site and provide us the url please.
