Sounds more like a hardware problem.
check your CD driver, full scan your Hard Disk,
reload your auto detection of Hdd in the
Bios
or maybe damaged Delphi CD media?

Good morning
After the installation of some 3 party components ( which seems to go OK ) I
will get a duplication of images on another package on the toolbar. e.g. a
component on the " Standard " palette will end up with its own icon and one
of the newly installed ones.
Must be doing something
Have the settings been merged ?
