I have an eftpos terminal driver written in delphi 2007.
On XP, it works fine with standard ports and USB-Serial converter.
But on Vista and Win7, it works fine only with the onboard ports. It
will not work with the USB-Serial converter.
I am using a Prolific USB to Serial converter.

No Idea, but I've had a number of times where it was issues in source
code, rather than other issues that caused problems like this.. For
Example.. The Default Printers.pas caused me problems on many
operatings systems and printers, but the dxPRinters.pas rewrite works
well on everything..
