Hi all,
Fab's comment below seems to be a recurring feeling in this thread that
I want to better understand.
How does using a wallpaper that was not a product of solely this team
[1] result in fear for the future of this team?
I understand that the wallpaper is a large part of the visual
Hi Raul,
I switched from Ubuntu to Fedora for a number of reasons, one of which was that
my Wacom tablet works out of the box without needing to do a lot of custom
compiling/installation of things.
I confirmed things worked by using the LiveCD first, and I suggest you do the
same. Simply
I just have to say, that image annotation thing is absolutely cool! Can
we put an Add Note button at the top of the page too? Could we also
increase the default size of the box for the annotation? It's a little
tough to resize and it currently is almost always too small to leave
alone. Or

Hi Ryan,
The release name follows a pattern and is chosen (voted on) quite early
on in the release cycle. Check here for the history and some info.

It urged me to move the task from my to-do list to my done list - thanks!

Hi Vanessa,
The only thought I had was that the design team's strengths in usability
and user experience aren't well defined in these cards yet. I suppose
this skill set could be put under the designer card in some way, but it
really is a different skill set.
If you want to put another
Perhaps we can put some additional solution ideas forward.
As a quasi-novice kernel user I always found it helpful to have the
kernel versions visible. When I update Fedora and the nvidia blob
causes X to fail, I like being able to choose older versions because I
can't do anything else.
tl;dr version:
1 - I think data should be collected before we make assumptions about
our user base.
2 - I think categorizing is a better solution than hiding, as users with
lots of kernels/OSs are more likely to be switching more often, vs users
with just a few. The value of reducing
from Fedora
users via a survey? Useful or redundant?
Thanks,

I really like Freedom as a Feature.
Feel it where your heart leaps actually sounds a little awkward from
an English standpoint - certainly poetic but perhaps overly elaborate.
I think Freedom as a Feature is also a nice idea or theme for the 10

I think this makes sense. Ask the question where would most people
expect it to be. There probably is no good answer to that since it
might depend on the widgets available on the login screen. So we're
looking for a sane default then - one that makes sense in most
situations. I believe
Hi Luya,
I like the idea of having some how-tos/tutorials for the design tools.
What's your vision for these things?
For example tatica/Maria has several YouTube tutorials already available
[1] on her channel. Having a default browser page that links to these
would be simple I believe?
Hey,
The Color Hug discussion sounds interesting and might be worth putting

I agree with Máirín's comments - well stated! It feels like there is a
feature here that hasn't been defined as such: the ability for me to
choose any number of images as Maybe's and then have a second round of
choosing/narrowing down. I think it could be a compelling feature but

Hi Pierre,
I tried uploading an image but nothing seems to be active (the upload
just seemed to finish quietly and nothing happened). Am I missing how
to add a new election or is that not a permission I have, or am I just

Hey br gnokii,
You included quite a few problem statements and even more solution

Hi Andrew,
These are fantastic - beautiful photos!
I'd suggest you submit them for the currently-open supplemental

licenses involved.

Definitely want to finish up 347 (Design Team wiki redesign) - this is a
moving target as we continue to add new content to the existing page so
