Try to change path to icons manually. For example put that path:
/opt/a (after you press a you dialog closes)

I can reproduce this here for bottom panel notification areas. I set the
severity to major because it is a very ugly visual glitch that needs
to be fixed before the release. When a new patch for this is done we
need to be sure that it will not crop text for very long

I have the same problem with evince and an HP DeskJet 980Cxi. With
evince, it uses the default setting (Normal+Simplex = waste inkpaper),
with the commandline lp tool (printing the .pdf directly), I get
Draft+Grayscale+Duplex, as set in gnome-cups-manager.

hotkeys on a Dell Inspiron (and everything else) move the volume by

I have the same issue, very annoying.
Klick on the clock-applet, the calender pops up. Klicking in the calender is
ok. But when I close the calender with another klick on the clock-applet it
crashes.
That happens EVERY time.

Bug #35470 is wrong. This bug affects any font that has its kerning applied by
Pango. When you have a version of Pango that applies kerning to Bitstream
you'll see the same tighted characters in gtk menus.

Set the 'skip to next track' to control-shift-plus. RB doesn't pick this up
at all.
While fiddling with I somehow managed to set this shortcut to 'n'. This was
picked up by RB, but leaves me with the letter n :-(
So looks to be an issue with the modifier keys?

Sebastien, song changes are really fast but definitely not gapless. On live
recordings you hear a small gap between song changes which is only noticeable
because you have sound across the song change.
To prevent this you have to preload and pre-decode the next song before the
actual song change
if they have icons for you I shouldnt worry then. I have been
dist-upgrading since warty. When Dapper hits stable, I will reinstall
and inform here.

The deskbar-applet gtk entry is already transparent for me. Unless you
mean the drop down search results which is gnome bug 338776

I can confirm this with dapper flight 7 livecd: The partition manager
shows this warning sign next to my single fat32 partition and when I
tried to mount the partition in order to get access to the data on this
partition, it gave me a message that some operations may be unavailable
or something

The notification applet tells me every time after upgrading of not system
related packages that i have to reboot.
e.g.:
Today i only updated example-content and festival.
A reboot seems not necessary to me.

It does, try firefox -new-window google.com. That's not the problem,
if firefox is on the current workspace you may want it to open a new
tab.

I'm using dapper 20060521 and gnome-panel 2.14.1-0ubuntu13.
I experience the same problem, sometimes after starting gnome the date and time
appears misaligned to the left of the mixer icon in the top panel (see
screenshot in attachment). Normally it should be located between the mixer icon
