I can confirm this, it is trivial to reproduce:
-plug in any removable media (cdrom, usb-stick..)
-from the popup nautilus-window right click and choose open in terminal
-quit the terminal
-try to eject the media - doesn't work
-run 'lsof |grep mountpoint' and it shows something like this:
nanophase: try to reproduce this making sure you don't open a terminal
from the popup-window that is shown after you put the media in. Also see

usb cd-writer. When I try to write a cd image through nautilus (right
click iso file - write to disc...) the dialog option of write speed has
1764 options to choose from. Starting at 11.7x repeating 15
so, if this won't make it in dapper, can we close it altogether as it is
fixed for edgy?

I have more information on this bug. It seems to be caused by a problem
with the imap implementation. When using pop3 the e-mails are displayed
fine. Other mail readers do not have trouble displaying these messages.
Nice detail: The imap server causing these troubles is a Novell one.

Binary package hint: sound-juicer
When ripping cd's Sound Juicer tries to correctly read the tracks. If it
doesn't immediately succeed (because of scratches on the cd) it wil keep
on trying at slower cd speeds. Eventually it will produce a result.
Sound Juicer will not tell
With the new Rhythmbox 0.9.6 in edgy I have no problems importing my
music collection.

Thanks for your bug. That works fine on edgy, it looks like the bug has
been fixed with an update since dapper. Marking as fixed. Feel free to
reopen if you still have the issue with edgy. That's a small detail I
don't think we are going to try backporting the change to dapper
