I have no feisty yet, will come back to this when I do.
How can I get more info on the actual codec? Totem seems to have taken a
step back, I don't have a properties menuitem anymore where the
resolution/codec were advertised. Hmm maybe I could use mplayer for that
aswell, but AFAIK mplayer only
I have still got the same problem. Currently I am running edgy.

the 2.14 behaviour was fixed in 2.16; unfortunately, for size constraints, I
can't make the dialog grow past half the screen size (as you can see in the
first attached screenshot).

That might be another gtk-qt-engine bug, are you sure that's the icon
theme and not the GTK theme being the problem? How do you select the

I'm no longer getting the same specific problem on the same specific
page. This could be due to the fact that I'm now on Edgy, or that the
page has changed, or I might have installed some different
firefox/gstreamer plugin since the problem first occurred. Will try to
report back with more info

using Dapper (amd64), I've updated to Edgy (amd64). The Gnumeric
version I'm using is the edgy standard 1.7.0.

Nautilus for me lists two volumes which I am allowed to mount: 245 MB
Volume and a 59.6GB Volume. Double clicking these icons in Nautilus
CORRUPTS MY DATA.
The 245 MB Volume is representative of /dev/sda2,

partition with the problem is /dev/evms/boot.

Most applications which play with these sort of things do so by making
sure the declared size of the file system (which has to be read from the
file system) matches the actual size of the device. Otherwise, an
explicit EVMS meta-data check at the end of the original file system may
be fine.

be working fine on Feisty here as well (however I am not 64bit). If you
feel that this is still an issue, I urge you to reopen this report.
The channel list dialog is only displayed if you don't have any channel
in our autojoin list.
Anyway, i recently commited the new channel list dialog. It will be
shipped in the futur 0.16 (should be released soon) and so in Feisty.

Thank you for your bug. How do you start gnome-screenshot? Could you set
/apps/bug-buddy/run_on_crash to false with gconf-editor and let apport
get a crash file for that problem? It looks like bug-buddy doesn't work
fine with it

Ubuntu mostly ship upstream software, the same software than other
distribution, and the same bugs too. You would have faced that same bug
using fedora, suse, mandriva or debian when they shipped the same
version of GNOME. Your claim about the number of bugs compared to other
software isn't based

-generic kernel.
The shadows still render incorrectly, yes, and it seems independent of
the theme - Human included.

I start gnome-screenshot with a keyboard shortcut.
I unchecked run_on_crash, and now everything seems to work fine.
If apport got a crash file for it, where would it be? There didn't seem
to be a visible crash this time.
So is this really a bug with Bug Buddy and not gnome-screenshot?
