after /etc/hosts modification. The startup time alone does not tell

I've tried to reproduce the crash (as described in Bug #86731):
I opened a presentation in OO presentation. I closed it, and when it
closed, openoffice told me that there was one document to recovery. I
accepted, and a new blank document was opened
It appears that ' and ALT-GR ´ have been swopped. Also, in order to get
that ALT-GR ´, one has to to press ' twice. I wondered whether ´ was
being used as the character compose escape, but that doesn't seem to be
the case.
The work around, for now, appears to be use ALT-GR ' to get a plain
ascii

Error message on ending VNC session
and whilst I am on, I upgraded from edgy to feisty and removed the
.gnome* and .gconf* directories, in an attempt fix something else.
Somewhere during the course of this (playing with xorg.conf files to get
my twinview back) I reverted to US keyboard. I fixed the xorg.conf and
reset my linux
What I did is this:
- I uploaded 2 songs
- I searched for them in ipod_control/music: they are located in
f08/01 Moonshine.mp
f79/05 Strangers In The Doorway.mp3
f46/07 The Wine Thief.mp3
- I selected move to trash
- they are still present in the same directories
- there is no .Trash/
It would be better if you could capture the entire debug log and then
add it to the bug as an attachment. It looks like the previous log
starts just after what I want to see.
Another question: if you eject the iPod and then remount it, are the
files still present? I wonder if rhythmbox queues

I just tried to edit another shortcuts, all in the multimedia group. I
could edit Brasero, MPlayer, VLC, but the modification I done on Totem,

After updates - situation is the same. When I use desktop effects - all my
workspace names are gone after restart (only Desk 1, Desk 2 etc).
When I Disable Desktop Effects - then all names are back how I set them. Now
when I again Enable Desktop Effects - then the custom names will be until I

Happens to me too. Auto-mounted partitions are only visible in /media/ not in
Computer, which would be the better, more user friendly behavior imho.

I have the same problem with a manual configuration and 2 nics on
separate networks.
The following started working after uninstalling network-manager
auto lo
iface lo inet loopback

The bug appears in gparted.
the command sudo fdisk -l shows my normal partition table, but gparted
fakes a completely empty harddisk. Space not allocated.
The command line tool parted also do not work properly. When i try to
print the partition
sudo fdisk -l

This is strange, I have tested with installed python-qt3 and with
python-qt3 removed and I got the correct reaction, either the main
window of the tool or an error message window telling that python-qt
needs to be installed. Can you attach the following files:
Downloaded, Updated, and Installed fine; but did still give this output.
Setting up firefox (2.0.0.3+1-0ubuntu1) ...
Please restart any running Firefoxes, or you will experience problems.
