Same here with two LUKS encrypted USB drives. I found out that a couple
of days ago I could get the drives mounted correctly under
/media/VOLUME_NAME by entering the wrong passphrase during the first and
the correct passphrase during the second attempt. But that doesn't work

the next biggest 4 memory fields are iconcache, about 6 mb each.
applets not included in ubuntu that i use are gtkwifi and computertemp,
altough removing them and restarting the panel makes no difference,
after some hours it gets big
