I was unable to type any complex characters in the gnome dictionary
applet even when scim is installed and working in other applications
(tried scim-anthy).
Since the applet already has setup for dictionaries that use

Okay ... somehow bug-buddy didn't behave it like I would've expected it
to (bug-buddy popped up with that error report when I started GNOME), so
