The option to select the package to open DVD's seems to have been
removed. This is a problem as some people use packages other than Totem
to play DVD's. Gutsy had no problems setting the package to be used.

I can add that this happens because of GNOME also, not jsut X.org. If i
set alt-shift in xorg.conf for layout change, and for ctrl-shift in
gnome, the ctrl-shift-u or ctrl-shift-s etc. shortcuts DO NOT work.

Ok, so I created a completely new user and run nautilus. It works.
Apparently it is configuration of my user. Can you give me any help with

I didn't know how to change type - in Modify the type was visible, but
not possible to change - so I just hit Clean key and it changed to
boolean. I did the same to the next key volumes_visible, it also had

Hello I use Ubuntu 8.04 and evolution 2.22.2 and when i try to get my mail from
the account
appear many times the request of root password and then another with my
mail-account password.
At least I can download my mail.

Yesterday, I took all the latest updates for my 7.10 ubuntu

I'm happy to report this in gnome, but against what part of nautilus?

Public bug reported:
If you install f-spot with dependencies without actually having Gnome
installed, the menu for opening a photo in another application is empty.
Installing Gnome fixes the problem. My guess is a missed dependency
somewhere.

I also just discovered I need to get into an ftp server that only runs
active mode. I was finally able to do it after installing filezilla
from the repositories, but I would like to add to the above suggestion
that there be an advanced button added to the dialog to allow for
active mode
