I have the same problem with 8.10. I tried a new user (The Guest one) as
you suggested Pedro but no luck.
When setting the account up, It is strange that for the IMAP password it
asks you if you want to save it, but for the SMTP password only asks you
if you want to save the password for the
Jesus! 5 minutes after my previous post a got an update of evolution
from the repositories that fixed it! That's efficiency hahaha! ;-)

This is related, but not identical to bug #93396. When using the save-as
dialog, focus is removed from the filename (when it doesn't get deleted
as in bug #93396) and uselessly redirected to the browser window. When
I also can conirm this issue in Hardy. System time is no 09:28, Evolution time
line in calendar view is 08:28. I did not observe this some time ago, so I
think it is related to a wrong switch date.
Also an invitation I received for 18:00h was inserted in the calendar at 17:00h.

First I marked both as duplicates now, since they clearly describe the
same effect, but on second look that might not actually be true (see

It would be interesting to compare /var/log/Xorg.0.log from a gdm which
has no input devices and the followup gdm where things work. Can folks

Sorry, but i'm not able to reproduce the bug anymore so no valgrind log.
I emptied trash again after this and it worked.

So, obviously the debug output I asked above is only actually useful if
it does *not* work, i. e. f-spot complains about a locking error, or
presents you with a device selection dialog instead of the
