work, but Evolution crashes when switching to Calendar. Messages load
with no problem, and if I go all the way over to Tasks (only), tasks

Thanks for your response, Sebastien. However, I'm unable to get Apport
works. When Rhythmbox fails, its window get unresponsive (the window
fades to grey, I'm using Compiz). I can only do one thing: to click on
the Close window button, but when I do that, the window closes and
nothing more
forgot version information. Ubuntu 8.04 and packet 2.22.0-1ubuntu3.
Version information shows 2.22.2 if I check about box.

On Intrepid, I fixed with Daniel's PPA, But I lost the ALSA mixer in
the gnome volume control and in the system - preferences - sound.
I am able to record using pulseaudio now using the flash applet (ALSA
Plugin) and I am able to set the volumes using alsamixer -Dhw:0
Current system is AMD64.
This issue still affects Intrepid.

Well, thanks Muelli, mv'ing .gconf helps me as well, but having to
reconfigure everything is quite annoying. It would be great to find the
responsible key...

encounters. How could this go unnoticed in the release candidate?
