Same for me.
Reason seems to be, that starting cups is now done via
/etc/init.d/cups.dpkg-new and not cupsys any more. There is an brocken symlink
called cups pointing to cupsys!
Adding /etc/init.d/cupsys.dpkg-new start to /etc/init.d/rc.local solves the
problem though may be not the recommended

I also installed the rhythmbox package from the proposed repository and
verified that i'm able to play music from the mtp device, but i can't
copy from the device to the computer. When i run with --debug, i get
error messages very similar to those shown by Brian Murray above. I

dialog which asks what archiver to use to extract files (I have both
file-roller and Xarchiver installed).

commenters) are fixed by the gdm priority change, so closing out the

Can someone please explain in layman terms when subpixel rendering is
