Yesterday, I've upgraded to 0.11.6svn20081008-0ubuntu4.2 from intrepid-

Since then, Rhythmbox and pulseaudio are using together approximately
15% of the CPU. (+/- 10% for RB and 5% for pulseaudio).
Seems like something is wrong with the commit to camel/providers/imap
/camel-imap-folder.c which was meant to resolve gnome-bug #558883. After
reverting the mentioned file to revision 9736 in the stable
gnome-2-24-branch and recompiling e-d-s the thrashcan is emptied and
evolution does no longer
I have the problem and I did a fresh installation of intrepid.
I formatted all partitions before installation.

There is no program crash. This is a problem of using 100% cpu while
the program is running. The even after closing app part turned out
to be invalid, as I wrote above.

I can:
(1) change the desktop background, to a brand new file, manually by editing
.gconf/desktop/gnome/background/%gconf.xml
(2) change the background to a new file in another login using
gnome-appearance-properties.
I can't see any difference in the file permissions between the two
I was able to affect a positive change by opening evolution and deleting
some slow and or broken calendars.
Evolution with Exchange is broken (LP Bug: 207723), so I'm not too
surprised that it mucks up the calendar.

The GVFS portion is reported here already as launchpad bug 106621. It
seems to be a problem in the gvfsd-trash backend, with us sometimes not
catching new volumes being mounted and thusly monitoring the new trash
locations on the new volumes and merging in the trashed files.

No hang here, but I am seeing a crash in (what looks to me like a bad
FontConfig object free in) Pango occasionally while continuously
regenerating the thumbnails. Only happens about 50% of the time.
