xrandr --auto doesn't quite work, but it's close. I've had some more

Barracuda 7200.11 that is already fixed in new models.

My suggestion would be to have there a dialogue box asking you to input the
encoding manually when opening a file. This could be maybe done by some plugin
or some setting allowing you to use the dialogue when you need to change the

I installed it..

It was stopped there and from the GUI window, I opened the video again
with Totem / movie player(Gstreamer) ..
please install the dbgsym packages for: libglib2.0-0, libgtk2.0-0,
evolution , the trace you attached is missing a few symbols, thanks.

Using Nautilus Connect to server, and choosing FTP (with login), entering
(domain/IP) address, user, and hitting Connect.
Prompts for password, and then displays:
The folder contents could not be displayed

I used the command gst-launch playbin uri=file:/// parallel on a
terminal and opened the video with totem movie player.. It didn't play
automatically until I moved the seekbar.and the video frames were
delayed as usual..But in the sidebar, I was able to see some details
about the video.

I've tried with high contrast inverted and i don't get that behavior,
are you sure is that the theme you're using? could you try the same with
intrepid? thanks.
