Develop in UFRaw won't work in Dutch locale, because of escaping problems
Does the kernel name the device in utf-8 or in other encoding (latin-1
for ex.)? If it encodes in other encoding, then it should be a kernel

Currently the default keyboard shortcut combination for switching
keyboard layouts in Keyboard Indicator applet, is Alt+Alt.
This key combination does not work.
In Windows, the default shortcut is Alt+Shift.
I suggest using Alt+Shift as the default shortcut for keyboard

Considering the last comment in that linked bug says everything has changed,
unless someone can provide us with something more recent, we are closing the

The problem still happens to me. The steps:
1. Log in with user john
2. Fast switch to user mary
3. Fast switch to user john
The screen goes black. Can't restart gnome with CTRL-BACKSPACE. Can't
open text terminal with CTRL+ALT+F[1-6].

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu
better. I reassigned this bug as a bug in gnome-control-center because this
setting is set in gnome-keyboard-properties which belongs to
gnome-contol-center.
Other than that, I can confirm this bug in Jaunty. The
I no longer seem to be able to recreate this; maybe it was a bus power
issue? I'll try to recreate this with the same sets of drives and post
an update.

On Second thought although alt+shift makes a good replacement it would
be nice if it would check if alt+shift is used together with other keys,
since strg+alt+shift+arrow_key is the default for moving a window to
another desktop for example and doesn't work anymore if alt+shift is

mmhh.. I think this bug should be considered at least as a High importance
because of its high impact on configuring mobile broadband access.
Generally people doesn't know what is their country code (since the name of
the country is not showed).

Cancel and Close window. See attached screenshot. This makes it
impossible to close the terminal

I did not send this to Gnome, as I have not diagnosed that this is in fact a
problem in Gnome (I only have this problem with Ubuntu Intrepid+Gnome, I did
not take a look at Gentoo+Gnome,
This is a gnome2-globalmenu bug, unfortunately launchpad won't let me

I followed your instructions. Here it is the debug output. The problem
happened this time too. Somewhere around 50% the progress bar just went
to 0% and stayed there for the rest of the burning process.
