A humble apology is in order. My poor internet connection isn't helping

I installed 'globalmenu' and had not fully realised what it entailed,
just wishing to try it out. I retrieved my menu's by sorting my hidden
files, and found in /home/ben/.gconf/apps/gnome_settings_daemon/gtk-
modules an x
This bug is still apparent as of this date and is becoming increasingly
annoying. I recall this used to work before. I also recall the
functionality of this option working with my prior (approx 3 years ago)
fedora distribution. After almost a year and a half it continues to
remain unfixed and I h
silly question: why the metacity version installed is 2.25.144? Wasn't
the final stable 2.26.x released?
However, the proposed package fixes all wrong maximized windows for me.
