still has no way of submitting track names to FreeDB or MusicBrainz.
I've resorted to installing Sound Juicer from the repos to do just that.

Completely agree with Stephen. It has to have at least a "X" button that

at least a few times times already (in one year that is a lot).

The first proposal in this bug is also my #1 Paper Cut! But I would
phrase it differently:
Ubuntu's default desktop setup looks way too geeky,
it should look more like good 'ol familiar Windows. :-)

I just did a full-upgrade on Karmic, and this fetched a new GDM which
took me from 2.20.10-0ubuntu3 to 2.26.1-0ubuntu1. At some point during
this upgrade (postinst?) the GDM greeter was spawned on top of my open
session. This is a problem in itse

etc, and they are all called something different!

2) Right click my name in the panel (gdm-user-switch-applet) -> Edit Personal

i've tried it. It seems to fix my problems with the toolbar but on the other
hand it gives issue with archivers (i can't double click on the file, it never
opens), chat applications or similar which allows to open links by selecting
open with browser from a context menu (like xchat), ubuntuone (
I think that the bug does not exist in http://bugzilla.gnome.org/.
So, I post the bug also in that page!

Thank you for bringing this bug to our attention. Unfortunately a paper
cut should be a small usability issue that affects many people and is
quick and easy to fix. I'm afraid this bug can't be addressed as part of
this project.
