Guys, any updates about when this problem is getting solved? If the

Quick fix:
1. go to system - settings - prefferred programs
2. chose custom in mail program list
3. you will see :
/usr/lib/thunderbird/thunderbird %s
4. change it to
/usr/lib/thunderbird/thunderbird %s
5. close
that's all..

You have been subscribed to a public bug:
When changing the settings of the workspace switcher (number of
desktops) on one head, the settings actually take effect on the other
screen. There is no way to change the number of Virtual desktops on the
first head.
I am using Ubuntu 9.10 with the ATI
