When evince and poppler link to the existing cairo library in Karmic
Koala, cairo 1.8.8, then the PDF displays incorrectly. When evince and
poppler link to the latest development cairo version in git, then the
PDF displays correctly. The bug was in the old version of cairo, which
is fixed in git
please reply me as soon as possible .its my first time i have reported a bug

I have the same problem on a HTPC running Jaunty. I don't need to VNC
into the machine for this to happen. A day or two of uptime will
eventually make the vino-server process start eating CPU resources up
all by itself.
A quick and dirty way to fix this is to just kill -9 the process. I keep
