I've been pulling my hair out on this one today on a lucid test system,
wondering why I couldn't get the parts that should work working. Finally
realized that it was a simple mistake, but thought I'd point it out here
in the hopes that it will save someone else some time.
In *lucid*, the

I couldn't seem to get the fix mentioned to work with existing users on
both karmic and lucid. It seems to work after a restart though. So I can
confirm that the fix works, after a restart.
I second Igor Wojnicki 's suggestion, with one additional thing:either upgrade
the setting to unchecked if

evince against gscan2pdf rendering the same PDF document. The document

I confirm that this still occurs on Ubuntu 10.04 alpha 3 (evince

To emphasize the importance of the bug I searched for duplicates and

in the list of applications except a grayed out No applications found.

I should also point out that this was on an arm system running the
netbook image. The card *did* get mounted in spite of the un-helpful
dialog box.

From my little perspective, it seems like it would be nice if gnome-
terminal defaulted to 80x25. A quick search and a read of wikipedia
seems to indicate that 80x25 is the most common format:

By far the most common text mode used in DOS environments, and
I'm marking the qemu-kvm task invalid as I think qemu is doing the
right thing, by emulating an 80x25 console.

I see this bug was closed, but perhaps it might be reopened? I seem to
have the same problem. I checked the files using the command line md5sum
tool, and the dupes have the same md5, but in the database there are two
different md5s for the dupes.
