Having had to redo my Live system on the USB key, this problem came
back. It looks like empathy tries to create a 'default' keyring and
sort of fails. Possibly because the 'default' keyring is already there
and new one is created called 'default2'. Then another one called
'default3', and so on.
I find strange that the first time I open the window it takes so long.
It might be better to preload the things that are loaded during the
first open, just when empathy is launched

The new Radiance and Ambiance metacity themes in Lucid have left and
right border widths of just 1 pixel. (This is different from the default
Human metacity theme in earlier versions of Ubuntu, where the width is 3

background image in one's list of backgrounds, in order to repair or
modify the image, or in order just to find it for use on another system,

Same issue here. Mouse clicks in window list work only randomly. Alt-tab
and other methods work fine.
Just tested the 'env GDK_NATIVE_WINDOWS=1 gnome-panel --replace'
workaround and it fixed things for me.

The new light theme hangs for 20 seconds before desktop loads. The music has
well and truly stopped and the light theme, just hangs there doing nothing.
Previously the desktop and panels would appear in unison with the finishing of

In the new Ambiance theme for Lucid, the minimize button is not rounded when a
window only has minimize and close.
Like e.g. the Apport window.
This is also true for Radiance, but in Radiance case, close buttons
aren't rounded when a
Milan, I think that removing audio group is not a good idea. There are
at least 2 reasons.
1. It might affect a lot of system components at least udev, libmtp, alsa which
might cause regressions.
2. It would prevent group based access control to the audio device - mind that
/dev is dynamic, so

There's no need for funding, most of the work is here, Upstart support
isn't that required to get services-admin back and useful. It's just a
matter of packaging. Though, if you want to pay me, just go on, I'll add

Preferences → Appareance, Fonts, Details…, it is written 96. If I

Oh, I thought that was clear from the package I updated the status for.
I meant system-tools-backends 2.9. And when I say Fix Released, this
means in the development version 10.04, which explains why you can still
experience the bug in Karmic.
