I just tested this last night. Seems that Empathy now changes New
account name account to your screen name/login id/etc. upon account
setup completion. During the MySpace account setup, it did say New

Okay i opened an upstream report at Bug #548776 , but didn't manage it
to add it via Also affects project. BTW Sebastian Pölsterl (who is the
upstream author) is already aware of the issue.

which keyboard layout did you choose during installation?
Can you please attach /etc/default/console-setup and copypaste the
output of
gconftool -g /desktop/gnome/peripherals/keyboard/kbd/layouts
(from a Terminal)? Thank you!

Ok i'm trying that but if I follow the steps, gdb hangs too..
This is all I get, after that I have to try alot to get gdb to exit.
