to handle setting the font based on the system settings. Font choice
and size is pretty subjective, so honoring the system setting for
document font would be best.

I had this today on Ubuntu 9.10, but not after hibernating, sleeping or
anything. The PC is a Dell T3400, quite the opposite of a netbook.
Anyway, this bug doesn't seem to meet the SRU criteria so those who are
annoyed by this may want to upgrade to 10.04 (which is just around the
corner).

Added testing info. Recording in ogg file format fails completely,
recording in spx format is truncated after the first 2 seconds.
Recording in wav and flac formats work fine.
