I have had this problem for a few months now, and to date there has been

setting. When I checked gconf, the offline contacts were selected to be
shown (this was default, I didn't change it) but Empathy still was

This is an issue with AMD-ATI's proprietary drivers. Switching to the
open source radeon drivers fixed it for me. Since the open drivers now
support OpenGL and Compiz, I don't see a reason for sticking with ATI's
shitty drivers.

When logining in after the automatic 'Lock Screen' function has kicked
One thing to note is that since the uprade from 9.10 to 10.04 the
screensaver is activating itself. Like it would say if I'd set it to
come up after 5mins of inactivity.

Reece has a point there, the paths are seporated by new line not a good idea if
that's a valid character for directory or file name. If this is fixed with

If you delete x files and then you empty trash the element's counter
that is at the bottom of the window says that you have x elements in
trash, it's when you refresh the window that element's counter sets to 0

sorry for my english. I recently installed ubuntu 9.04 and many problems
that i had with older versions i have not anymore but now there is a
problem with nautilus ( i guess) . the files that i moved to recycle bin
arent shown neather files on my walkman
Yes, if you open a pdf, maximize, close and open the SAME document, it
remembers for THAT document. Before this bug was introduced, Evince
would remember the general setting of maximized or not. So open it with
a NEW document, and it again opens it un-maximized, even if you closed
it maximized.
I'm not entirely sure, but in my case I did not have any comments
attached as well - all the xml files in the .comment dir were basically
empty. I played around with comments previously, that might have
triggered it.
