Ok, i am experiencing the strangest thing. When i go and run my app

I decided to try Empathy again after installing Ubuntu 10.10 beta from

Thank you for taking the time to report this crash and helping to make
Ubuntu better. This particular crash has already been reported and is a

Confirmed in Maverick. I had the opportunity to resize Firefox,
Evolution, Terminal, Synaptic on any outer surface but the margin of
error was very small and it would be helpful to have such a handle. This
seems like a wishlist for all noted packages and should be marked as
such.

Some more information:
1) When I play the song that won't play in the iPod from Rhythmbox or gtkpod,
it will play. So, the song bits make it to the iPod correctly.

The notification about the importance change just reminded me of this bug.
It seems to be solved since Ubuntu 9.04, at least on the few computers I use.
It is not closed on gnome-bugs, where it seems inactive since July 2008.
Somebody fixed something, maybe in the environment, which solved this
I also had a similar problem after changing my motherboard: my USB wifi dongle
was disconnected after an error message related to rhythmbox (in dmesg: usb
2-1.1: usbfs: USBDEVFS_CONTROL failed cmd rhythmbox rqt 128 rq 6 len 255 ret
-71). I was able to reconnect by unplugging / replugging it.
There is absolutely no reason for this. This is not classy. It actually
feels pompous and rude.
I beg the person with this idea to please reconsider. Please present the
purpose of this inclusion. Just because Apple started this trend does
not mean it is a smart thing to copy.
