Ubfan has mentioned, namely that the cause is the /media/ directory, as

Ubuntu better. I have an AMD dual-core and opening yelp from the
Terminal I went from 10%/5% to 50%/100% but the 50%/100% was sustained
for less than a second. While for modern hardware this is no sweat, this

I agree with the above posts. If this isn't fixed most people who have
never used Linux and many who have will ditch it as soon as they see
this. It shows a rushed product and lack of professionalism and pride in
