This is actually an issue introduced by ubuntu's libindicator patch.

When I unplug the AC, gnome-power-manager runs the action associated with

Hi, i am now having the same issue, although this bug status is

Clicking the upper right x produces nothing, but selecting the Quit
option from the file menu does works (although it stops working when you

I just copied a bunch of video files from a camera memory stick,
selected them in nautilus, right-clicked and selected Open with Movie
Player and the same problem happened.
Checking the running processes, I see:
