Desktop is exposed from under screen lock after an Update
Your gconf settings show your screensaver to be enabled:
idle_activation_enabled = true
lock_enabled = true
Could you please try the gnome-screensaver-preferences command and see
if the checkboxes are checked there?

I have a single keyring, labeled Passwords: login. I do have auto-
login set, and I would get asked two or sometimes three times for my
password on login, every time.
As suggested elsewhere, I changed the password on that keyring to
nothing. That worked; I was no longer asked at startup. Then I
Kamus, I can confirm that this is still an issue in 10.10.
I am using the ARM version of Firefly, on a Netgear Stora NAS.
I can also confirm that it all appears to work well from Banshee.

I can confirm that I have exactly the the same type of problem, and that
it is limited to images printed from The Gimp (I can print the exact
same image from Geeqie). The error reports from my printer begin:
ERROR: limitcheck
OFFENDING COMMAND: image
STACK:
... then a bunch of gibberish no
I am also having the exact same problem (with video calls too), but so
far i havent found an actual solution though. i have very little
intimate knowledge of computers in generall, so i'm limited to what i
can copy and paste into the command line.

Very annoying bug, and its there for at least 9.04
One could still purge the files by manually deleting the contents or
/root/.local/share/.Trash
But restoring the files requires one to manually read the
info/xxx.trashinfo contents to know the original location of the trashed
file. Why cant the
8 months since bug was confirmed. Any news on it?
By the way, where ccan i find the rationale / specification on this
expunged folder? Is it for big files, other-users files, both, none,
something else?
Last but not least: shouldnt these files be deleted on reboot?

Binary package hint: file-roller
It's not really a bug, I just though it would be really awesome if
Archive Manager could handle .rar compressed files like it does with
.zip and .tar.gz.
ProblemType: Bug
DistroRelease: Ubuntu 10.10
Package: file-roller 2.32.0-0ubuntu1
It is not a Docky bug, thus there is no 'solution' for it in Docky.
Anything done to Docky would be a hack to work around the bug in gnome
session.
I offer the solution of fixing the bug *in Gnome Session*, where it
exists.
