Oh dear, I forgot to check whether this was still a problem with Natty.
I've been busy with work.
Even though this is now automatically expired, I'd still like to confirm
that this is still an issue in Natty. It is an issue when the font size
is changed both when the terminal is in fullscreen
... and they aren't going to fix it. They removed the configuration
options on purpose.
Gnome-tweak-tool provides this functionality, though (that's an Ubuntu-
developed app, isn't it?) It shows up as 'Advanced Settings' and it
would be a nice workaround for this bug if Advanced Settings appeared

Unnecessary gst-keyboard-xkb appearing in Notification Area when

I think Rodrigo was asking for someone to run those commands on real
hardware. If you run in a VM it is unlikely that a backlight will be
present - afaik VirtualBox/QEMU do not emulate a backlight. It would be
poor isolation if a guest VM going to LCD standby took down the host
LCD.

I appear to be online to my contacts but i can't send or receive
messages. Checked all proxy setup and it is ok with other applications.
I tried even to uncheck in the proxy setup the use same setting for all
