I have the same crashes that Everthorn described in #7. Started about
10 October. Desktop icons disappear when crash occurs. Also desktop
right-click menu gone. After crash occurs, click on Files icon on
unity panel will restart nautilus and restore desktop function. This

gedit fails to start on first try, but does on the second
To manage notifications
There was a program named /usr/bin/magnifier in the gnome-mag package
which allegedly provided magnification under GNOME2, but it wasn't
started by Accessibility services correctly, and even if started
manually, it still didn't work. In Oneiric, that package exists but is
not installed by default
I really have no clue why this ever happened, it didn't happen again
since then. I'll set the bug to invalid for now and reopen it if I have
any news.

Could somebody create gsd-debug-randr file in you user directory,
restart the session, change the screen settings and copy the gsd-debug-
randr.log which got created in the user directory to the bug?
