It happens to me too, even in fullscreen.
Also, another way to fix it is by uninstalling gnome-screensaver completely and
installing xscreensaver. That one is a lot better anyway, and you get like 200
screensavers with it, which look awesome on an HDTV.

No pedro, it's not specific to compiz, it happens in unity-2d as well
and when calling gnome-control-center from a command line (try without
the shell menus but by running the command)

configure for each screen if you get the issue? Could you also create a
file gsd-debug-randr in your user directory, restart your session,
trigger the bug and add the gsd-debug-randr.log you should get in your
user directory?
