problem that results from an interaction between some cameras and
gPhoto, a common Linux library Shotwell uses to access digital cameras.

Having pete downgrade to 3.2.2-0ubuntu17 resolved the problem.
He also found the crash only occurred when the wacom tablet was plugged
in; unplugging it worked around the bug.
From the crash dump, g-s-d is crashing in the new wacom support code in
g-s-d that was introduced in this new version.
I've just installed 64bit 11.10 on Aspire One D255 and the touchpad
worked for about 30mins and then froze. None of the above suggestions
work. I can't drag a mouse around with me on the train - there's no
room! Is there a solution?

should be to OFF for precise, if it is indeed new functionality? Then

I got tired of waiting for this to be fixed, so I implemented a
workaround.
I moved the gedit binary to gedit.bin, then I created a shell-script
named gedit that calls gedit.bin with the --standalone option:

the workaround is giving permission to your user:
sudo chown; chgrp user file (without the quotation)
you have to do this to all files inside the ~/.gnupg directory
and then you can create your key!
