Hey, that bug still persists!
Just downloaded latest ubuntu, installed and updated.
When I started Xiphos, it went into fullscreen mode and caused the panels to
disappear.

I get some results, click on one of them an rythmbox open in Ubuntu Music Store
view (see screenshot),
but instead of the song or album i get the string {error: bad or missing
url} displayed
