It seems like the modem disconnects right after it has connected. I see
that the signal level is 2 of 5. What happens if you try to set the
connection to use only 2G or 3G?
There is work underway upstream to support connecting to the modem using
QMI protocol, but that is probably not ready at

Assume I have a file called screenshot.png and double click it; Nautilus will
start the image viewer. If I omit the extension, Nautilus is clever enough to
figure it out and open it with the image viewer. If I'm however stupid enough
to rename the file

What I do know is,
3 times left-click opens 2 windows,
4 times left-click opens 3 windows,
5 times left-click opens 4 windows and so on

additional info: The following actions work normally on the command
line:
sudo pm-suspend -- suspends the system, wakes up normally
sudo pm-hibernate -- hibernates the system, wakes up as intended (with a few
manual tweaks in the initrd image to get it working with encrypted-swap)
well it is still doing the same thing plus it happened to some body named
Kulix, they posted it on the forums along with mine.
But now in Quantum Quetzle it is still doing it, it even ruined a new media
player that I got just to try it.

I just ran into this problem trying to mount a SD card. ALL of my
filesystems, except for one, are ext3. One is ext4. My root filesystem
is ext3.
So, two of the above workarounds look better to me than manually
creating /media/$USER. Which would be best:
A) Adding 'tmpfs/media
It seems that mostly systems with ext3 root file systems (like mine) are
affected, so the correct fix should be adding acl support like Yann
Aubert suggested.
