I tried to burn a video DVD with Brasero. I lined up some mpg videos to add,
put a blank DVD in the drive, and clicked Burn. Then I got an error message
saying:

folder, which then got the ownership of root. In properties of the
.gconf folder, I corrected the permissions and clicked the button to

Apparently some package was updated which caused a file /etc/nologin to
be created and not deleted afterward, and this caused me to be unable to
log in to the system. Thank goodness I overrode the default behavior of
10.04 LTS of protecting me

Signature inserted twice when replying or forwarding
I tried Banshee and found it could not connect to the synology music
server at all. As probable cause an incompatibility with iTunes was
given. So the Rhythmbox problem might be the same. I will try mt-daap on
a ubuntu installation in virtualbox and see what happens.

Tried forked-daapd on an ubuntu installation in virtualbox. Rhythmbox
works like a charm. And now I see that it also works with my synology
iTunes server. Mystery. Probably some cache somewhere. Sorry to have

I have this problem, too, but on a ubuntu SERVER system. Today I
upgraded from 10.04 to 12.04 and my machine does not power off most of
the times. It's frustrating. With 10.04, there were no problems. I used
this machine for nightly archiving data and for nightly backups of my
server, with WOL

The only possibility that mounts disk automatically is opening and
closing usb-creator-gtk. Then disk is available (and mounted) in
