Same problem here with a cheap ebay wireless mouse, which was working
absolutely fine until I installed 13.04 fresh (was previously working on
13.04 after upgrading from 12.10).

I can't seem to edit my previous comment, so here's a new one - I just
noticed that actually, on my laptop, I am also missing the settings -
the settings I do have are for the touchpad, not the wireless mouse I'm
using. However, the settings were present in 12.10, as I had to adjust
them to reduce

I had the same problem with MS Sculpt Bluetooth Mouse under
opensuse/KDE. Thanks to your posts I could solve the problem by just
manually entering the pin while establishing the connection. So,
there was no su action necessary.

A few things:
1) Your description doesn't seem to have anything to do with nautilus (unless
I'm misunderstanding). Please clarify what program/browser you're using to view
the videos
2) You're using an older/EOL version of Ubuntu (11.10)
3) Using the Flash plugin to view video takes a lot of

This occurs for me (Intel Ivy Bridge, HD Graphics 4000, Saucy) even
without opening multiple or large images. Any operation on any one image
makes the Gimp global menu unresponsive for seconds, or permanently. I
also get a spike in unity-panel-service CPU usage.

wait...does that mean that mangelasakis' comment is incorrect? My
impression from his comment is that this is fixed in newer versions. I
tried switching to 3.6 but it was to much of a pain on 12.10. I'm gonna
upgrade soon anyways, for now I will stick to my custom build.
