I have the same bug on kUbuntu 14.04 LTS (3.16.0-30-generic x86_64).
I haven't large CPU usage, but the unnecessarily process of writing data on my
SSD it not good thing.

With my FORD Focus Car, pairing does not work. The bluetooth system in
the car searches for devices and shows Aquaris E4.5 Ubuntu Edition and
then prompts me to connect with a 4-digit pin code, but the Ubuntu phone
doesn't react at all and after a while the car system says

With recent Ubuntu versions, though, gnome-settings-daemon is not there
anymore. I tried to kill unity-settings-daemon as a workaround, but it
doesn't work.
