Seb, for me it looks like a problem of glib2 because of the following:
1. In the traceback it does not go throgh the code which I have recently
changed.
2. The crash happens only in Ubuntu Vivid, not in Utopic and not in Fedora.
Vivid has another (newer) version of glib2 than Fedora.

I see! No, unfortunately we also need the accute dead keys for á, é, í,
ó and ú.
The key (phisically speaking) must be the same. That is, 'a = á, and
'c = ç
(We also have other accents, such as à, ã, ê, etc., but all other accents work
perfectly in the US-Intl with dead keys
Message is still the same in xubuntu 14.04.2 using brasero.
It is misleading. I cancelled the process and the disc came out just as fine.
