We don't install gnome-screensaver since it is not used under gnome-

that.
Adding a screensaver to gnome-shell and a panel to configure it would be

So... this has been sitting in my inbox for a *long* time, sorry.
I think a better approach would be to suggest clients make direct use of
the desktop entry spec, rather than duplicating the methods here. We
already have a property to direct clients to the desktop file for the
media player, so the

Alex, the desktop entry spec recently gained support for
org.freedesktop.Application, which has a method Activate() that takes a

Not convinced that following GApplication's slightly esoteric form is
helpful. The name's fine, but the way it encodes/decodes the timestamp
is kinda weird.
We'll probably need a CanRaiseWithTimestamp property or some such to let
clients know whether this is implemented. Or a HasRaiseWithTimesta
Instead of only passing a timestamp, this could be the same platform
data that GApplication uses in its Activate method (of type "asv").
This would make passing these kinds of things more uniform and easier to
handle for toolkits, as well as being extensible.
Maybe we could even call it Activate ;
+1 on the last comment.
Personally I think it's a shame for the Linux world, that such a show
stopper is not fixed since 2 major releases! How should I convince
anyone having a non Mass-Storage Smartphone to switch to Linux??? These
errors occurred on plain installs from the DVD-Images.
I wonder
This requires input from a developer.

I installed xscreen saver and set it to start in the start up section of
gnome control center. Works just find. But it would be nice if it were
easier.

Still not fixed in 15.04. It is quite silly that one could show the
content of the file with eog but cannot save it into a file. That is to
say, the computer can read every single bit and pixel but cannot write
it down. It worked 2 years ago!

Same situation here - installing libwayland-egl1-mesa-lts-vivid solved
problem. Maybe Empathy should have this package as a dependency?

Public bug reported:
I think that it would help a lot of users if there was some sort of GUI
settings screen for gnome-screensaver, or at least for it to integrate
with the control center so that there are settings there which can
control it.

Public bug reported:
Even though I understand that Ubuntu early on decided to move away from
screensavers and to just have a black screen, not all users will like
this. So I think that it would be good if there was at least the
optional ability in the gnome-control-center to have a screensaver. Th

When I try to move or copy an addressbook entry from a local to an LDAP

I quite understand why this happens; I suppose that the copy/move has to
be done field by field and not as an object. It means that I have to

This bug affects the GUI of the bluetooth-indicator on my fully updated

alias fpm='firefox --ProfileManager'
