Refresh hangs indefinitely, appstreamcli
As well as removing hosts lookup in the smb.conf file (#29) you can also
prevent this behaviour by installing the libnss-winbind package and
adding wins to the hosts line in /etc/nsswitch.conf
Ex:
hosts: files wins mdns4_minimal [NOTFOUND=return] dns
That should allow samba to find all
Same thing is happening to me. When I close the cage transform tool, the
cage transform pie progress thing shows up, and when it's almost done
the window turns black and white and Gimp no longer responds. I've been
waiting for over 5 minutes and it still hasn't unfreezed yet.

I'm not sure what Oxide is meant to do here - we query the location
service via the qtpositioning API. There is no API for "waking up the
GPS" AFAICT.

I have installed Ubuntu 16.04.
After the I installed empathy via apt-get install empathy
No notification icon in the tray icon. Color when new messages recieved do not
show to blue color.
I've fixed this by apt-get install telepathy-notify command.
